Boatwrights...is it this popular?

I am returning to POR for a short trip (4days/3nights), and really wanted to try Boatwrights for breakfast but I can't seem to get a PS before 7:50am this is too late since EE is at 8am (during March). Is Boatwrights this popular, we have stayed at AKL the past two visits and have never had a problem getting a PS at the Boma which is always packed?

Should I keep trying WDW Dine or should I wait til I check in, is there hope, I really wanted Eggs benedict or a blue print omelet one morning.

I would keep checking, also another suggestion is just to walk up right at 7:30am when they open. They can usually seat you right away when they first open with or without at priority seating

No worries, we tried to book a 7:30am PS and our travel agent discovered that Boatwright's doesn't accept PS's before 7:50. We went there 3 times during our Jan. trip - each time was the same, seated immediately, quick service, in and out in about 20-25 minutes. We had made a PS one morning, and it definitely wasn't needed - they didn't even ask if we had one when we arrived at the podium. Enjoy your omelette

Every time I've gone to Boatwrights for breakfast, even during the summer months, there has never been much of a wait (5min max). I agree that if you went right when they opened you would have no problem being seated right away.

keep trying. i have noticed that it is busier later in the morning. i agree about being there right when they open; you should be fine then. they do serve a good breakfast! so maybe folks are catching on. good luck
