Boatwrights in POR

Has anyone eaten at Boatwrights in POR and if so has was the food and how expensive is it. Thanks.

We ate there last week. I's heard mixed reviews but we had a great meal. There were six of us and everyhad had a different entree. Salads were fresh and chicken was tender. DH had pot roast and DH had the steak. Mashed potatoes were a hit. We went to Beaches and Cream after so I can't help you with dessert questions.

Once every trip, we eat breakfast at Boatwright's. Their breakfast is comparable in price to most sit-down breakfasts, and their Sweet Potato Cakes are to die for.

Breakfasts are great! We don't do many sit down breakfasts but if we do, Boatwrights is one of our top three choices every time.

We don't care for dinner too much. Too limited a selection for my picky family.

We ate at Boatwright's in May of last year. Breakfast was fantastic!! We had the banana stuffed french toast with the strawberry sauce and it was YUMMY!

We did not care for dinner. The food was just OK...not a very huge selection, and I thought it was pricey. For the same money, you can have a better meal on property elsewhere!

We had breakfast there as well and it was fantastic!!! The sweet potato pancakes and the banana stuffed french toast are to die for !! The prices are comparable to most sit down breakfasts. I would recommend this. Even our two DD's loved it. We were pleasantly surprised by this meal .

Weve ate Breakfast there on our last two trips and just loved it. The Sweet Potato Pancake are very good.

Boatwrights is very good. The items we ordered for breakfast never seemed to cost any more than what you would pay at the food court. The fact that you get to sit down, relax and the items are made fresh when your order them and haven't sat on a steam table is a plus. We have also had dinner and enjoyed it. We love the resort, so to be able to go "home" after a long day at the park get changed and have a good meal was wonderful.

If you have an annual pass or are a florida resident and have purchased the Disney Dining experience card, you get a discount. We love this card.

Is it worth it to come from another resort just for the breakfast at BOatwrights? It sounds so good I was thinking of going there for breakfast the morning of the day we're going to Typhoon Lagoon. I figured we could take a cab there (we're staying at GF) and then just catch the POR bus to TL. Does that sound reasonable?

We usually take the boat to MGM from The Yacht Club and bus to Boatwright's. Following breakfast, we always visit the Animal Kingdom. I guess it's sort of a mini-tradition.

We ate at Boatrights in Feb. for dinner and loved it. I had the special that night which was some sort of crusted salmon and my DH had a creole dish. Our friends had a pasta dish. We all enjoyed our meal. In fact, I think it was one of the best meals I have had at WDW.
