Does anyone have any comments on Boatwright's dinner? We have been there for breakfast but never for dinner. I was just looking over the menu and it looks quite good.

Thanks!!

We have eaten there two or three times for dinner while staying at POR. (Never miss breakfast there.) I think it's a little expensive for the food that you're getting. We have never been overly impressed but I wouldn't avoid it like the plague, either if I were tired and didn't want to leave the hotel. A much better restaurant for the same kind of money is Shutter's at CBR, IMO. We were far more impressed with that meal.

We have eaten there about 3 times for dinner. Everything we have had has been good. A couple of the waiters we had were really funny and added to the experience.

My wife and I really enjoyed the dinner offerings at Boatwrights...I understand that truly hard-core fans of cajun cooking have been disappointed by the spice-level in the food, but we thought it was great. Nice selection, good-sized portions, and friendly service...try it!

My DW and DD were there last week. My wife loved the crabcake appetizer (but hated the cajun cole slaw served with it) and both DW and DD enjoyed the french onion soup. I had the cajun wings which were very good...covered in a sweet marmalade and hot sauce. I also had the butchers tender meal which is a cut of steak served atop of cheddar cheese grits...very tasty.

We had never been here before and I am sure we'll be back again. As others have said...I don't find it great but I was happy with our meal. Price wise I found it comparable with other WDW restaurants...where most are a little over-priced anyway.

i think it's average. i would eat there again if we were staying at po-r, but i wouldn't make a special trip just to eat there.

the last time we were there we had a HORRIBLE waitress and by horrible, i mean probably the worst waitress i've ever had anywhere in my entire life. she was just plain nasty.
