Boats? Where do they drop you ? Citywalk or Port of Entry?

Hello, just wondering where the boats from Royal Pacific drop you off at the park? Do they drop you at CityWalk or at the port of entry of the park?If I take the walking path from Royal Pacific do I have to go through security again at CityWalk?

The boat dock is located at the lower level in City Walk

If the boats are full and wait line is long, I usually walk back to RP

Not a bad walk from RP to IOA
The Studios are about a couple minutes away.

When I was at RP last month, I used the boats and used the walking paths.

Boats do not run if lightening is in the area
I ended up walking back to the hotel many days due to the weather/storms

You'll only go through security one time. If you take the boat, you'll have security just before you board. If you walk from Royal Pacific, you'll go through security right next to Margaritaville just as you're about to enter City Walk.
I like the walk and utilize the path 95% of the time. YMMV...
