Boating at BWV/BCV

Here is a picture of one of my DDs boating last week on the lake in front of BWV (they bot had their own boat).

My girls are 12, and the rule was they had to be age 12 or older and at least 5 foot tall. The boats over at VWL have different rules (I think you have to be 16).

This was one of the highlights of the trip for them!

Do you mind if I ask the cost?

Looks like fun. I guess these boats go more slowly than the ones at the Contemporary, and that is why the age limit is younger. Can you take the boats through the waterway over to MGM, or only in the lake?

I can't remember the exact cost, but for half an hour it was something like $23 with a 10% discount for DVC members.

You can take the boats up to MGM (in the picture you can see the hat at MGM) and back to the lake in front of BWVs. It was a lot of fun for them. I stayed back in the resort and did laundry while DH got in his own boat, so the three of them were out on the lake together.
