We are renting a Pontoon boat for 2 hours while we are at FW in July. I have some information on the Pontoons and it states "These boats are restricted to the waterway from which they are rented." Does anyone know if this means restricted to just Bay Lake? Or can you take across the water bridge to Seven Seas Lagoon like you can the Sea Raycers?

Thanks in advance :goodvibes

You can take them about anywhere. They are areas clearly marked where you can't go. It's a great way to see the whole area.

One time we rented a pontoon boat at the Fort marina (AAA discount available) and chugged past the Contemporary and found an open patch of water in front of the MK that was out of the way of the big MK ferry, boats to all the resorts, etc. and I shut down the engine to just float and take it all in.

A Cast Member boat zoomed over in less than 60 seconds to ask why we had stopped. Maybe they thought we had mechanical problems. Maybe they thought I was trying to fish on the water and not pay the hundreds of dollars for the honor to do so. They asked me to stay under power and keep moving. :confused3

The Fort marina staff is also generous, in my experience renting boats, SeaRaycers, etc. in rounding down the length of the rental a few minutes. They were very kind and every little bit helps.

Here are the current aquatic prices as of March 2014:

Looks like the pontoons are $45 per 30 minutes.

We had actually thought about doing that ..... packing a picnic and just shutting down and floating... I guess I didn't check... do they allow you to take food?
