Boat to MK

Is there just one boat that runs to MK and back or are there more? I am wondering if there are big crowds at the boat in the morning and you potentially need to wait a few times for the boat to go to MK and come back. We like to get there for rope drop and also plan to do a character breakfast before the park opens so just wondering if we will have any problems.

There are two boats that run back and forth. They are quite large and hold a lot of people. The large boats start about 45 minutes before the park opens.

In addition to the large boats, there are two smaller boats that make a circle between Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge, and the Contemporary. Those boats start at 6:45 am.

If you want to make a breakfast before park opening, you need to get on the smaller boat and get off at the Contemporary, then walk or monorail over to Magic Kingdom.
