Boat to dinner from DHS?

No matter how much I try, I can't get excited about Sci Fi for dinner during our trip. We're doing Mama Melrose on another night and I don't want to repeat.

We don't have park hoppers, but is there a resort or area nearby where we could boat to for dinner, then be back in time for Fantasmic?

Our other option is to move our breakfasts around and include Tusker House for breakfast (done before) or lunch (haven't done.)

Current ressies include:
Chef Mickey's - breakfast (repeat)
Kona - dinner
Mama Melrose - dinner (repeat)
1900 PF - breakfast
Garden Grill - dinner
Crystal Palace - dinner (repeat)
Stitch's Aloha breakfast (repeat)

We like to eat around the world at Epcot, so that's our other day's meals there (unless we visit for lunch on our last day before going home & hit Le Cellier). DHS just doesn't have that many TS options. How is CP for breakfast? Another option for our last morning.

Thanks for the help!

Try Cape May, Captain's Grille or Beaches & Cream (be careful with B&C, they don't take reservations and the place is very small - if you're thinking peak mealtimes you are looking at a long wait to be seated) at the Beach/Yacht Club or maybe ESPN Club or Kouzzina (if you like ethnic food) at Boardwalk. If you are not on the dining plan, try Il Mulino or the Dolphin Fountain.

Be careful about taking the boat to a resort and then trying to be back for Fantasmic. If there is one Fantasmic show it is going to be crowded. Getting in line less than an hour before showtime carries a greater risk of ending up in standing room or not getting in at all. Plan on at least 15-20 minutes for the boat ride, not counting the time you might have to wait for the boat to arrive. The Swan/Dolphin and the Boardwalk are easily accessible from DHS by a walking path, which would be faster than waiting for the boat, although it is not a very short walk (it's not a very long one either.) It's also possible to walk to the Yacht and Beach Clubs, although it's further and will take longer.

You may also want to consider Big River Grill and Brewing Works at the Boardwalk. I have never eaten there but have heard they have good food. It may be a good option for a place to get in and out of quickly. If you take the boat, I think your quickest option is to get off at the first stop and walk. I don't know how far the walk is otherwise.
