Boat Rides from Contemporary

How early does the boats start leaving from Contemporary to MK? How late do they run?

What about the times for traveling to Fort Wilderness or Wilderness Lodge?

I am trying to remember, but do not quote me on this. I believe the boats start running to the MK one hour before opening and run until one hour after closing. I believe they are the same for going to FW and WL. I believe the buses run a lot later than that, just in case you want to stay longer.

I don't mean to contradict, but I don't believe there is boat service directly from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom. I found this out after figuring that I would take a different way back to the resort one day, and couldn't find a dock labeled "Contemporary". I talked with a Ft. Wilderness dock cast member, and he said there is no more service directly to and from the Contemporary and Magic Kingdom, although you can take a boat to Ft. Wilderness and then catch another boat that goes between Ft. Wilderness and Contemporary. I bet this probably happened because Contemporary is so close to MK that most people probably just walk over and take the monorail back, and it wasn't worth it to keep an empty boat running.

freediverdude is correct. There's no direct boat service from the CR to MK. There is to Ft. Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge, though.

LOL! Everyone's right!

The launch from CR will take you to FW where you can transfer to another boat for service to the MK....and the boats will start about an hour ahead if not a tad eariler....it's a nice ride...dont forget thou....if your at the CR and want to get to the MK the fastest way is on foot....about 1/2 mile 10 mins comfortably
