Boat Rental Package

Our family of four plus neighbor's child will be at CR this summer for 14 nights. We all love the Water Mice--the little 2-passenger motor boats. I have a vague (or incorrect) recollection from reading the boards that CR offers a package deal on boat rentals. Anyone tried this? Do you know the particulars? Thanks!!!!

We used the package last year at CBR and loved it - we paid around $200 for the entire stay - it was length of stay for up to 5 family members. We will be at CR this May and plan on doing the same. I am not sure of the cost at this time, but we decided on CR because of the variety and size of the lake and the speedier boats. It was well worth it last year, and I am sure it will be even better on the bigger lakes.

Thank you!!! That is what I was hoping to hear. Have to see if length of stay deal good for whole two-week stay. But even some good part of that is enough for us to get our $200 worth!!!

Do you know if you have to be staying at a resort with a lake to take advantage of the $200 length of stay deal? We will be staying at AKL in June and would like to take advantage of this. Could we use any of the lakes and boats?

My understanding it that you can only "rent" the boats at the marina where you pay for the package. I am not sure about whether you have to be staying at that resort. -HM

Earlier posts have indicated that anyone is eligible for the "bike and boat" plan regardless of where they are staying. What they have also said is that you pick one marina and your priveleges are only there during your stay. If you are staying a while this plan could save you a bundle!
