Boat from SSR to OKW

Hi: Does anyone know how early the boat starts running b/w SSR and OKW (June)? Is it walkable?

The first boat doesn't leave OKW to DD until 11:00 am, so that boat probably isn't returning (leaving DD, stopping at SSR, and continuing on to OKW) until 11:30. (It would leave OKW going back to DD then at 12:00 noon)

You can walk to OKW easily. From the SSR dock to the edge of OKW would be about 3/4 mile. To go all the way to Hospitality House, from SSR, you're looking at about 1-1/2 miles.

The time schedule has been changed from the photo in Caskbill's post - it is still 11:00am for the first trip, but now they are every 30 minutes until 4:00pm and then every 15 minutes until 11:00pm.

Thank you! Nice to know we can walk it. While the rest of the family is sleeping, I think my youngest and I will walk over and check out OKW when he wakes up at the crack of dawn, as usual!
