how often do the boats run from mk to wl ? i am going there for dinner from mk. if i miss one how long between boats and are they big boats? is it a far ride? 15mins?????

Well, there's many possibilities :)

We've stayed at WL many times, and the boats seem to run approx every 15-20 minutes. There are both the larger boats that are enclosed, and the smaller brown boats that are completely open on the side. Not sure how it's determined which one runs, although my experience is that we've had the larger ones in the morning when it's busy and either one after that ----- I think we've had the larger boats most of the time.

The boats run in a route from MK to WL to FW and back to MK or the reverse of that. I've read that the route goes one way in the morning and the opposite way in the afternoon, but have never really paid that much attention. If the route is MK to FW to WL, it would take 15-20 minutes. If it's MK to WL, it would be approx 10 minutes.

The boats change their route at 3:00 pm. Before 3 it's MK to FW to WL and then MK. After 3 it's just the opposite. The smaller boats go to CR and FW.

We've always seen the small boats go between CR and FW, but have also taken the small boats to MK. One cool night in December the driver stopped the boat so we could watch the fireworks. It was beautiful!

We just got back and never had to wait more than 5 minutes. I don't know if we just got lucky or not. But it never seemed a wait. Much nicer than the buses.

I know this sounds crazy to alot of people but I'm confused about what boat goes from MK to WL? My DH and I are taking our FIRST TRIP to Disney and want to eat at WCC and I had no idea you could get a boat from MK. Where is it located at? (PLEASE I KNOW IN THE WATER). Just not familiar with all the transportation available. We'll be staying at the POP and using the bus system all week. I would love to try the boat. Thanks for all your help in advance.

As you are exiting MK look straight ahead and see the boats. The biggest one goes to Ticket and Transportation Center and I believe it's to the left. Look for the signs that say 'Resorts'. There will be one boat to the GF and Poly and a different boat to WL and FW.
The monorail will be towards your right.
Ask the CM's to point out the signs.
