Boat from Dolphin to Epcot

I understand there is a boat I can take from the Dolphin area to Epcot. This boat brings you to an entrance by the countries, right? Can I still take this boat prior to World Showcase opening? I'd like to go to Future World when it opens at 9:00. Is there a more efficient way? Thank you.

It will bring you to the International Gateway, which is inbetween France and the U.K. Yes you can take it before the WS opens. The only other way to get to Epcot from the Dolphin is to walk.

It will actually take you almost the same amount of time to walk (unless you have "little ones" that will be without strollers). The boat goes to the BC/YC, then the BW and then Epcot. Takes about 10-15 minutes, same amount of time if you walk (not stroll )

When you get to Epcot at 9:00, you will be able to walk in thru the UK and Canada although the shops will be closed. You won't be able to walk toward France because it'll be roped off until it opens at 11.
