Good morning and Happy New Year! Do they still ahve the resort boat that goes from BLT (contemporary) to WL and FW? TIA.:thumbsup2

Thanks. Our trip is only 8 months a way. Never too early to plan the easiest route to HDDR.:rotfl2:

Yes, they have a boat (separate for each) to both WL and Fort Wilderness from the BLT. They do take a while to cycle back and forth so plan accordingly. I rode one a week ago.

we use it every stay to do the HOOP DEE DOO !! and even at the last HDD show we take it back !

Actually it's the same boat that goes from BLT to Ft Wilderness to WL and back to BLT. There might actually be two boats that does this route.

When we were there in Dec they had two different boats running opposite routes - ie, 1 was going BLT/WL/FW and the other was BLT/FW/WL. In previous years the routes always used to go one direction in the morning and then switch to the opposite route in the afternoon/evening.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it a permanent change or just something special that we caught? I should have asked the captain but didn't think of it at the time. I really liked it and hope it is permanent! :thumbsup2

There were two boats there when I rode to WL from BLT. Not sure of the order of the stops, but from BLT one was going to WL and the other was going to the campground.

That is how they were doing it when we were there in August so it sounds like it may be the new way.

I liked it as well as you had your choice and could get on the boat that would be stopping first at the resort of your choice. Of course, we got on the wrong one as we wanted to go to go to WL and got on the one that headed to FW first. It wouldn't have been so bad except it was raining really hard and we got really wet from the spray!!!

I love that ride and we have done it in the past just for fun. Hopped on at the CR and rode the whole loop, never getting off, just as a way to take a nice ride in the hot summer!

Yep we used the boat to go see HDDR too. Loved it!! I will say though the boats filled up fast. We missed the one that left from CR right to FW and got on the one that went to WL first. Well we left many people standing in line still at WL trying to get to FW b/c the boat filled up. On the way home we had to wait one boat to get on, not too bad considering how many people were in line.

That is good to hear. It seems like we always wanted to go to the place that was the last "stop" and at certain times of the year Bay Lake can be a little bit chilly!
