I am so stressing myself out trying to make sure our Xmas Disney trip is wonderful and amazing. I have never been to the Boardwalk and was trying to fit in one night. Is it worth it? Should I make the attempt to go. After hours of trying to configure everything, I think we could go on Friday night after day at Epcot and dinner at Le Cellier.

Another thing, can I take a Friendship Boat from Epcot to Boardwalk? I think I read that somewhere.

Again, should I bother to go to Boardwalk and are the clubs, shops and atmosphere worth the effort?

PLEASE HELP SOMEBODY. :santa: :thanks: ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Yes! You should go and experience the Boardwalk...You can certainly take a friendship boat from Epcot to Boardwalk - OR you can simply walk - it's that close...

It would be a nice "stroll" along the Boardwalk in the evening after your dinner in Epcot. There is JellyRolls (dueling pianos), which I've actually never been to (maybe this trip. . . ) but everyone who has been raves about what a blast they have had! There is also ESPN Zone, the Atlantic Dance Hall and Big River Grille and Brewing Works...you have many choices ~ there's a nighclub for everyone!!

There is also a great ice cream/candy shop and there's always some live entertainment going on on the boardwalk - magicians, etc.

I don't think you'll regret your visit!

If you have time, be sure to into the hotel lobby. The Christmas decorations are just beautiful!

If you're all adults, don't miss going to Jellyrolls. It was one of the highlights of my last trip. I will be going there EVERY trip from now on. What a blast!!!!

I would definately suggest hitting the boardwalk too! It is just a fun lively place to see..

Another big yes on seeing the Boardwalk.

It is an easy walk from The International Gateway exit of the World Showcase, just follow the path to the left. The boat dock is right in the middle of the Boardwalk.

There are places to eat, a couple of carnival style games and a few nice shops including a neat art/jewelry gallery. There are also street type entertainers on some nights.

In '03, we finally made it over to the Boardwalk area, just to check it out. Well, 3 months later we were proud DVC owners at BW!!! Dh said he wanted to be a part of BW!
It is a quick walk over from Epcot's Intnl Gateway...about 8-10 minutes tops. It is a fun atmosphere at night...lots going on. And you can't beat the holiday decorations.
I would certainly take the time to stop by for a visit!!!

I also had concerns about the BW. This is our first fam vac ever, and it is to DW. We will be with our three children (8,6,3). We will be there Jul 24-29. I made plans to tour BW and DD on Friday before leaving on Sat. Is the BW something we should try to do in the morning to avoid the more adult scene?
