We just got back from a split stay 2 days ago from BCV and BWV. It was our first stay at both resorts. We absolutely loved BCV:banana: Obviously SAB is great but the whole setup by SAb is terrific as well. You have access to the sand pool (great for small kids), you have a lazy river and the area with the slide. There is seating everywhere around the pool and all of it has easy access to food. You can grab a bite by the pool side or walk a few feet oustide the pool and grab some ice cream at the soda shop. We spent entire days just relaxing by the pool. We really enjoyed the dining options (dinner) as well (dinner was great at the Yachtsman steakhouse). We felt the resort was very well self contained. Our room (449) was nice and clean with a decent side view of the fireworks. We only own 100 points there but I have a feeling that will change soon.

We then went to BWV and although it is a nice resort it just wasnt for us. I really didnt like the fact you have to basically leave the resort to get any type of food or drinks. It rained several days when we were there and it is an absolute pain to trudge through the rain to get breakfast, lunch or dinner (or simply refill a mug). The birds on the boardwalk in the morning can be a real pain as well if you want to eat outside. To us the entire setup wasnt that convienant.

At the end of the day we could enjoy all the perks (we considered) at BCV and still have the boardwalk at our disposal if we wanted. While we fell in love with the entire resort at BCV nothing really stood at to us at BWV (for our preferences).

i think they are both great. we are moving our membership from bwv to bcv because of several reasons. the kids love sab. i think they could build a better passageway to get to the pool but they probably never will. they also love being able to run down to beaches and cream, the game room is right next door, they fitness center, and the beauty salon are all right together. we also like the cape may cafe, they have one of the best character breakfast at wdw.:thumbsup2

i love being able to come home from the parks at night when my feet and legs are aching and be able to walk in the sand at sab. it is supprising what great therapy that is. we all love the gift shop at bc and the food we were able to purchase there. the people who work there are so friendly and nice. :goodvibes we found bcv not to be a clean as bwv but not bad.

the bwv is more inside beautiful and having the boardwalk just outside your door is great. we found the employees there to be a little to stuffy with myself and with my grandchildren. maybe that is the overall feeling they want the bw to have. the employees in the boardwalk gift shop were not polite and helpful at all, in fact just the opposite. that is the only place at wdw that i have experienced that attitude.:snooty:

it is not easy to switch. it means selling and rebuying but we think it will be worth it in the long run.;)
