Boardwalk Villas questions

I'm working on my packing , and I have a few questions about the supplies in the boardwalk villas. (we're getting a 1BR unit). Do I need to bring dishwasher and laundry soap? How about coffee filters? Anything else I need to include on my 'must pack' list?

They provide dishwashing soap and a small box of laundry detergent but I always bring those little tablets of laundry detergent because it is so easy to do laundry. I usually try to pack a whole lot less and wash there because it is right in your room. I never have a problem with the dishwashing detergent, there seems to be plently. I would definetly bring your own shampoo, becuase I think they only leave you one little bottle and it is not usually enough. Although, people on other posts have said, they have had problems I have never had a problem getting extra pillows or blankets if necessary.

Coffee filter yes. Unless the policy is different/changed, they only have one coffee packet there at check in, no daily...so you need coffee also. (Someone might have better info, it's been awhile since I was at BWV, like 5 years! But this was the case at OKW everytime we stayed there.) They had a pitcher there, so I brought some lemonade & ice tea mix, if you are not a soda drinker. Have a great trip!

Yes, you will need coffee and filters, I also bring cream and sugar. They give you a starter kit but only one or two packages of the coffee.

Thanks for the info. I assumed I'd buy coffee at the grocery store, but I'll bring along the coffee filsters and laundry soap too (I also opt for packing a little less and doing some wash during our stay!)

Is your reservation through CRO or DVC? If CRO, you will get daily housekeeping and daily replenishment of supplies. If DVC, there is limited housekeeping depending on how many nights you are staying.

Looks like we'll be there at the same time!

Just in case you didn't know, the filters are the 8 - 12 cup basket type. I agree with the above poster who suggested the laundry tablets. I also bring along dishwashing detergent tablets, easy to pack and any that are unused you can bring them home. Have a great trip!

Hi, We just came back. We didn't bring filters ( actually we brought the wrong size). They were only $.95 for 100 of them. So if you need the space, keep that in mind. We were shocked at how cheap they were. HTH!
