We're checking in to BWV tomorrow night (11/22) for a two-night stay before our Disney Cruise. This is our first stay at BWV. The 22nd and 23rd are still in the 'Choice Season' category. We are staying in a studio and the two-night point total is 26 (from our confirmation sheet). The sheet lists the room type as "Deluxe Studio Garden View", but the DVC book only lists Standard or Boardwalk/Preferred View. The point total implies that our room is in the boardwalk/preferred view category.

Any idea what the garden view means? :confused3

The Boardwalk/preferred view is actually two different categories although they both cost the exact same number of points. Your view is the non-boardwalk so you'll see something like pool/garden/trees. You also could end up with a Village Green view which would have a bit of a boardwalk view to the side.

The word "Deluxe" was recently added to ALL studio accommodations at all DVCs. Disney thinks it helps distinguish studios from regular hotel rooms. You might enjoy a Village Green view, so perhaps you could ask at check-in to see if one is available.

What is a Village green view?
