Hello all....we just booked 4 nights at the Boardwalk....They gave us a room with the Boardwalk view...we have only stayed there 1 night since our home resort is Beach Club....where are the boardwalk view rooms? Any and all info would be most appreciated....are the rooms on the noisy side since they face the boardwalk?

Thanks all.....

The boardwalk view rooms, um, er, overlook the boardwalk! :goodvibes

The rooms can be a little noisy, especially when the crowd from jellyrolls gets out, but most people don't find it terribly bothersome.

They are the rooms above the Boardwalk, facing the water. We had a 5th floor room close to the boat dock last December, the only noise we heard were the boat horns.

Hi,

I have stayed at the Boardwalk twice, both with Boardwalk views and we loved it! The rooms are right on the Boardwalk that you see in the pictures. The first time we had a room on the top floor and the second time we were on the second floor. We liked the top floor better. As far as noise, we did not have a problem..... You are going to love the boardwalk....there is so much to do.

Have fun!

It can get a little loud if you are a light sleeper, late at night (or early in the morning I should say). A lot depends on the day of the weeka dn the time of year. But the view is amazing. Take a look at this view: (Link)

Have fun.

You'll love the view! The noise is not too bad, except for sometimes the games on the Boardwalk (basketball toss, etc) can drive you nuts w/ the bell ringing constantly. They also do start blasting the Boardwalk 1930s theme music in the morning, and there's the ferry horn that toots every once in a while. Hmm... guess it is a little noisy, but being from the city, our family's used to it. Heh. Heck, it's quiet compared to the city.
But the view and people-watching are great. It's definitely enjoyable if you like to be in the middle of the action. Most families say you can't hear much noise when the balcony doors are closed and the curtains are drawn. Have a great time!

I guess I must be a good sleeper because I have never been bothered by noise when staying in BW view rooms, even those on 2nd floor. And if you happen to be a person who likes to get up before 8:00 a.m. you may actually find it very peaceful watching the BW come to life in the morning as you sit on your balcony drinking coffee and eating a treat from the BW bakery (which usually opens at 6:30 a.m.) I hope you love your BW view as much as we do.

This sounds like a really wonderful view to have! I hope I'm able to snag this coveted view one of these trips!!! Sitting on the balcony drinking coffee watching the world wake up sounds like heaven!

I agree that the noise can be noticeable. The view is great. I, howevr, opted on this trip to save points and get a standard view.

We always bring a sound conditioner/noise machine on vacation with us where ever we stay. My kids use them at home and love them. It blocks most low noises out like people in hallways, doors closing, etc. My husband and I listen to our youngest DD's machine over her monitor. She really doesn't need the monitor anymore but we love the sound and don't want to get ride of it! The only problem we have on vacation is what one of our kids favorite sounds they are going to listen to-babbling brook, the ocean, or white noise. We never really hear anything else! :flower:

DH and I always request BW view for the "world waking up" in the morning on the balcony, for the people watching throughout the day, and (here's the plus) for the EPCOT fireworks at night. Not to mention... it's a great sight to wake up in the middle of the night and see spaceship earth lit up.

The noise has never bothered us while we slept--- guess it's because we always keep the balcony door closed while sleeping.

Wow! What a great picture!!!! Our first trip to BWV is in April but we have a pool view. I guess I'm waking up to the clown? Will I see any fireworks?

twotoohappy,
Here is what we saw from our pool view:

BW pool view photo

We love BW view but thought this pool view was also great. We did not see fireworks but I think some rooms that are on the other side of the pool can see some high Fantasmic fireworks.

I don't want to dampen your spirits BUT-are you sure you're going to get a view of the Luna (clown) pool? I had requested a pool view a couple of trips ago and ended up with a view of the quiet pool. Good luck, hope you end up with the Luna Pool view! :goodvibes
