Hi all,

I'm staying at the BWI for the first time in Feb. I've only walked through it before to go to Jellyrolls or dinner.

Are the standard rooms the best bet for quiet?

Tell me about the Belle Vue room? What time is it open until? Do they broadcast radio shows?

Also, I read somewhere that there was a continental breakfast in the Belle Vue room? Is this just for concierge? I was not sure.

Thanks!
Sheri

Last time we stayed at the Boardwalk Inn we stayed in a standard view overlooking a courtyard. It was very quiet. The Belle Vue room is awesome in my opinion, of course I am a fan of single malt Scotch and that is their specialty. They do play a loop CD of old radio broadcasts. Andrew, the bartender there for most of our stay told us that it was either a 3 or 4 hour loop I can not remember which. I will be back next month and I plan on spending some quality time in one of the overstuffed leather chairs they have in the back of the room. I hope you enjoy your stay.

We were in standard room 4278 in June and it was great. Overlooked a nice quiet courtyard with Epcot in front of us. At night we could see the fireworks right from our beds. The Belle Vue room has a nice set up for breakfast. We got tired of eating out so our last few days we went down and got some food, coffee, and juice and ate in our room. I thought the prices were very good. Probably the best breakfast deal in the area.

We are juust back from the BWI, had a room overlooking the boardwalk and Crescent Lake(above ESPN). We found the room very quiet, once the balcony door was shut. We loved Spoodles for breakfast-great food.

Try to avoid the rooms facing the front driveway. We had one for 1 night before we moved to the villas and it was far from quiet. People walked past our balcony on the way to the bus stop (2nd floor). If it wasn't just one night, I would have requested a change.

Stayed at the Boardwalk villas 4 times.
Boardwalk view - fabulous. Got to see the fireworks at night from Epcot from the balcony, plus all the people watching.
Pool view - pretty, but also pretty noisy. We were on a lower floor so maybe that's why. If you plan on hitting the pillow for an early start at the parks, it's not the best.
