Boardwalk Inn room question

We have just booked a handicap accessible room for our first time at Boardwalk Inn. I would love to read any experiences for the HA rooms there. I requested close to the elevators, is there any other requests I should make?

We have never stayed in that area, I know you can walk to Epcot, but have no clue where the paths are or anything. I am clueless, I have time to research, we are going in October. We are excited but nervous, so any help would be appreciated.
