Boardwalk Inn Garden View advice...

Staying at the BWI for the first time next month! We have booked a garden view room and the only request I put in was for the 2 queen beds and sleeper sofa. This is important so my kids don't have to share a bed. Other than this can anyone recommend a section or view that maybe best? I'd like to be close to the lobby. I was going to ask to face the village green but wasn't sure if that was considered a water view? Any advice?

I’ve stayed in a room facing the Village Green 2x now. One was labeled Garden in MDE and the other Water (though I booked Garden). I highly recommend requesting this area. It’s like a more private Boardwalk view, as the balcony is off to the side.

That sounds perfect...from the maps that area looks close to the lobby, correct? Did you have the 2 queens and sleeper soda?

Yes, 2 queens and a sleeper sofa. The Garden view room that I had in May was 5273 - the exact room that I requested thru TP. Not too far from the elevator. I loved the location.

We stayed in 4277 last summer... Loved it! Oversized balcony, close to elevator & great view! I think we booked standard view, but I can't say for sure. I think we were upgraded at check-in as we requested a different room our original one was right over the ESPN club. I do believe it had the 2 queens, and the pull out couch. Have fun... BW is our favorite resort.

If the request for the sleeper sofa is very important I wouldn't put in a second request. From my experience it seems to confuse them when I have more than one request and then the most important doesn't get fulfilled. If you do put in the second request make sure to mention the order of importance.
