I don't konw if anyone has posted this before but this site has some great satellite images of WDW.

I started this post to see if other people can post links to the other resorts around WDW.

Here's the link: http://local.live.com/?v=2&sp=aN.28.366504_-81.556066_Boardwalk Villas

On the left there is a navigation pane. Click on the icon that looks like a clump of buildings - this brings you to the Bird's Eye view.

Bird's Eye view is the best image quality you can get. AK, MGM and EPCOT all have Bird's Eye views available, MK does not. Right above the compass in the navitation pane you can click on "aerial" the use the slide bar and zon out to can an aerial view of all of WDW. The Bird's Eye view is the best however.

Play with the navigation and you'll get use to it.

Have fun! Made me feel like I was there!!

That is a really nice website. I think I'll be using just for directions around Orlando

I just love that site. I now can see where OKW is and we can ask for certain areas. That is if we can make up our minds. :rotfl2:

CMAN... Thanks for the link. I spent several hours playing on it last night! :teeth:

can you get all these links on the 1 site or not

Once you go follow one of the links to local.live.com you can use the navigation pane in the left to move around.

I'm trying to put together a bunch of links for all the resorts and when I'm done I'll post it.

Thanks for the links! This gives us a much better idea of what's available at each resort. ~Ev :)

Hi.......Wow, what a great site.....

Is there any way to save a photo as wallpaper??? I tried to right click, and it would not let me copy it for background, etc.?

Close all the extra icons on the photo that you can, open up your favorite graphics program and minimize, edit your IE window to have minimal border with the photo you want displaying as large as possible, take a screen shot and save it to your graphics program. Edit the screen shot as desired and set as your background. Good luck! ~Ev :)

Any Windows XP or AOL users having trouble accessing this site. I can't seem to see the pictures everyone is talking about.

Everytime I click on the link I get an error message

Just a thought---people should know that this imagery isn't current in many cases. This program, like Google Earth, uses all kinds of pieced-together imagery (military-intel speak for overhead photo/radar/infrared, etc) from various government and private sources and in many cases the photos are YEARS old. Take a close look at Magic Kingdom and you can see 24,000 Leagues Under the Sea at the back of Fantasyland (Where Pooh has a tree house today). I searched my currrent address and the photo shows a cornfield where my house now sits---true up to about 1999 or 2000.

I could probably spend hours looking at this stuff just to find what's changed---like if Tower of Terror is there in the MGM photos---but I wouldn't use it to find my way to the closest grocery store.

I agree. I just posted the link for enjoyment purposes. I thought it was pretty cool to see imagery that blew google maps away.
