Boardwalk Construction Pics

Last week while staying at The Boardwalk I took pics of the construction that is going on there now. The lobby, common areas and occupied guest rooms were not affected. That said as you can see from the pics the renovations are quite extensive. Replacing roofs, siding and painting. All being done in typical Disney fashion. Quickly, quietly and efficiently.

The noise was never a problem as they didn't start work until late morning and even then it was muffled if at all. I did see painters coming and going throughout the day in the halls.

On one occasion we were sprinkled with wet paint as we walked under the main construction area.

In this pic you'll notice they're removing a tree. That whole area was renovated the day before. Walls and windows replaced, plumbing, trees removed. The next morning all that remained was one more tree to be removed.

Congratulations! Oh what an exciting time it is for you. The Boardwalk always looks elegant, grand and pristine. A more than prefect place for a wedding. There were 2 weddings while we were there. Cms and guests joined in the excitement about the weddings. None of the reception areas not even the Belleview room are part of it of the facelift. They're moving at light speed but give then a call to ease your mind. Have a wonderful magical wedding!!
