Boardwalk Club Level

Staying at Boardwalk Club level in December. When I booked, I had a choice of standard room or Boardwalk view. Now, when I look at it, standard view says garden pool or Boardwalk view and Boardwalk view is not available. Did they change room categories? Is club level luck of the draw for view now? Thanks

CL used to be even more of a luck of the draw for view - it was standard CL (complete toss up - boardwalk or garden) or deluxe room (all boardwalk view) or outer bldg garden room (all garden view.) Then they added "Boardwalk View-Club Level" as a bookable category. We guessed this was so that those who wanted a regular CL room (not a deluxe CL room) and wished to pay for the "guarantee" of the Boardwalk view could do so. I put "guarantee" in quotes because you never know what could come up - we've been moved around at Disney resorts in the past. But it's always ended well.

We've stayed in both boardwalk and garden view rooms at BWI CL before and enjoyed both for different reasons. In the future, I'll probably stick with standard CL and take my chances.

Here is the current list of available categories of Club Level at the BWI

1. Standard Room - Club Level: Views of Disney's BoardWalk Inn Courtyard Leisure Pool or BoardWalk. 2 Queen Beds and 1 Day Bed or 1 King Bed or 2 Queen Beds.

2. Outer Bldg - Garden Room - Club Level Access: Views of Disney's BoardWalk Inn Gardens. 1 King Bed. Sleeps up to 2 Adults

3. Deluxe Room - Club Level: Views of Disney's BoardWalk. 2 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa. Sleeps up to 6 Adults

4. Boardwalk View - Club Level: Views of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Gardens, Crescent Lake or BoardWalk. 2 Queen Beds and 1 Day Bed or 2 Queen Beds or 1 King Bed or 1 King Bed and 1 Day Bed. Sleeps up to 5 Adults.
