Quick question. Staying at POP. Are you able to go to the boardwalk area for breakfast? I know we can make an ADR but what if you want to get a breakfast sandwich at the Bakery or the coffee shop. We do not have any interest in Cake Bake Shop. If you must eat at a place with reservations we can always go off property since we will have a car.

They have some breakfast croissants and muffins etc in the coffee shop by the lobby.

You'll need to Uber or Skyliner or something because they won't allow parking without an ADR.

Thanks. If we can’t find a place that takes ADRs for breakfast other then Cake Bake Shop we will go offsite or check out Disney Springs. I know they worry about guest parking and people going to a park but it would be so nice to get a 1 hour parking pass for something like this or shopping.

100% agree.

you could always get one for Trattoria al Forno.

They have a pretty good classic breakfast for a pretty good price, especially for Disney. We almost always stay at Boardwalk and probably have breakfast there at least twice during our trips.

If you like coffee get their French Press.

We usually do the two eggs your way, comes with sausage/bacon and toast or the Frittata. they also have good oatmeal. I think the eggs around $15 or so and the Frittata is like a dollar or so more.

The Boardwalk Deli is a great place to grab a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich, no ADRs necessary. You can also mobile order from there, so it makes pick up quick. Carousel Coffee is the little lobby coffee shop with pastries and lighter breakfasts. Definitely some good options for breakfast at the Boardwalk!

Ale & Compass over at the Yacht Club resort does a really nice table service breakfast. Rosa Mexicana is a table service at the Dolphin hotel that does breakfast (both buffet and a la carte options) but does not take reservations and, unfortunately, I don't think validates parking for breakfast.

I always read people- not you OP - complain about the breakfast options at Boardwalk.

We are staying for first time, but sure they don't have Mickey waffles, but you can get those at Beach Club. Otherwise the coffee shop in the lobby has great coffee and then pastries, grab and go fruit, etc. The deli has bagel sandwiches and then Trattoria Al Forno has, in our opinion, the best sit down breakfast on property!

Not to mention the quick walk to France if you want something there.

Sure and the best way to get to the Boardwalk or the YC / BC would be to take the Skyliner to the Epcot International Gateway and all 3 resorts are a very short walk from there.

Or are you really wanting to park at one of the 3 resorts?

Garden Grove at the Swan had a really good breakfast not too far away. The quick service there has Mickey waffles. Many options at the Swan & Dolphin.

Trattoria takes ADR’s and has a great breakfast

Picked up one of these at Sam’s club on clearance for like $10 … haven’t had a need for a Mickey waffle in years but now that our granddaughter is here we will take this and a couple shaker bottles of mix with us to use in the villa …

Dave, we are simply interested in getting breakfast. No parks.

Thanks to everyone for suggesting Trattoria. We thought they were open for lunch and dinner.

Ale and Compass is great. And for a very small upcharge you can add the buffet expansion to your entree.

But if u are staying at Pop, really easy to skyliner over and stroll the Boardwalk.

Agree that Trattoria has a really good breakfast, as does Garden Grove at the Swan. Garden Grove also has AAA discount of 20%, although they don't take reservations.

Agree about Trattoria's breakfast. I always get their yogurt and fruit from the lighter menu. However, I just noticed that they have a "plant based" Mickey waffle as a side. I don't know how a "plant based" waffle is (does it taste different from regular ones), but I'm thinking of getting that too.
