Boardwalk boats

We are staying at the Boardwalk for the first time. We took the boat home from Epcot last night and loved it. We are headed to HS tomorrow. We are early people, we don't have to be the first people there, but we like to be at the park when it opens. What time would we have to leave hotel to make it to HS for opening if we were taking the boat? What is the order of the stops? We have a car, would it be quicker to drive?

proably quickest to walk. There's a walkway that follows the "river"....just go to the end of the boardwalk...turn left by atlantic dance hall....should take about 15 mins.

Options:

Walk to studios; about 20 minutes without pushing yourself

Boat; boats run Epcot to BW to YC/BC to Swan/Dolphin to Studios to Swan/Dolphin to YC/BC to BW to Epcot

You can catch boat at BW and then stop at YC/BC and S/D before going to studios. Total trip time about 25 minutes and another 4-5 minutes for time to get off boat and into studios and you also have to allow for the boat to come.

You can instead walk to end of boardwalk toward Atlantic Dace and walk over the bridge to the S/D boat dock, which walk takes less than 5 minutes. Then catch boat at S/D going to studios and that that takes only about 10 minutes to boat dock at Studios.
