We are planning our January 04 trip and would love stop at the bakery on our first day. What do they offer and do they have bagels? Also what are the hours?

Thanks! :)

They do have bagels, as well as doughnuts, muffins and other pastries. When we stay in the Boardwalk area - we often hit the bakery for breakfast. They have other non-breakfast items typical in a bakery - cakes and cheesecake.

See my tag...and this is the best thing there!

Disneyolic, I have actually driven the 2 hours it takes to get to the BoardWalk to get one of those chocolate croissants...lol
I see you're headed to WDW for the first time with your kids. That will be such a wonderful time! Hope you really enjoy it!

That chocolate croissant looks amazing!! My mouth is watering...

My favourite is the Cinnamon Yummies :) I also tried a bite of the crumb cake which my boyfriend really loves! A lot of their pasteries are quite big so be prepared :p

We stopped by twice in August while at BCV. Once as a late night snack, once for breakfast.
The pastries are definately big enough to share.
We had banana creme pastry, cheesecake brownie (to die for!!!), chocolate cake, Mickey cake. Everything was delicious and fresh. We thought the prices were reasonable as well.

This definitely sounds like a must-do on my next trip to BCV. When is the best time to go? How busy is it in the morning? Evening after Illuminations or MGM closing? I'm wondering if those are times maybe I should avoid. Last time I stopped in there, last year, they had a couple of sandwiches too. Do they still sell those?

Ive heard of those before and often wondered, what exactly they are. DS and I are big cinnamon fans so Im hoping to check them out on our next trip. Can anyone explain what exactly they are?
Thanks!

I'm not sure what the Cinnamon Yummies are, I always say I'll try something new, but just can't tear myself away from the chocolate croissant!
Simba's Mom, it does tend to get quite crowded around breakfast time (around 8 or 9), I've seen the line out the door by 8 to 10 people, but it does move fast. I think the item they run out of most often is the breakfast burrito, which is my dh's favorite. And yes, they still have sandwiches, I had a chicken salad one evening at it was wonderful!

Yummmmyyyy...I can't wait to get something from here!

The picture of the chocolate croissant did it for me! This a definite breakfast stop on the way to Epcot.:p

When we stayed at YC, we would walk over to the Bakery every morning for breakfast. Then, we'd sit on the boardwalk and look out over the lagoon (there are a few tables and some benches there.) It was a realy tasty, yet much less expensive, way to start the day!!

I remember that they're similar to cinamon buns ... but not in a round bun format ... very tasty ... and sticky! :p I wish I had taken a picture so I could show you ... oh well. I guess that will be my excuse to go back this year ... not that I needed one *lol* :)

I'll be at BWV on 10/18, and my first breakfast treat will be at the Boardwalk Bakery! :) Everything looks and sounds so good!

Is this a dinner/late night snack option?

Just wondering, as it sounds like it would be a great place to sit and watch Illuminations while enjoying a not-too expensive sandwich.

Can't find their hours listed but, since the other stores and restaurants at the Boardwalk are open at night, I imagine Boardwalk Bakery would be, too. As far as Illuminations is concerned, you can only see the highest of the aerial fireworks from there. Don't plan on seeing 'Illuminations' from there.
