Boardwalk Bakery

I noticed on Boardwalk Bakery's menu that you can order cakes with 24 hours notice (5", 8", 1/4 sheet. 1/2 sheet and sheet) Does anyone know if they will deliver them to your hotel (onsite, of course)? I'm trying to think up some sort of surprise for my DH for our anniversary...

I just called the Boardwalk (407) 939-5100 and was put through to the bakery... No direct number. But anyway they will only deliver to the Boardwalk. The said to check your resort and see if they will pick it up and do it through room service. Hope that helps....

Wow! Thanks! At least there's an option Wonder if I could find a helpful CM over at YC....

I guess I could take the boat over and pick it up myself... but unless he's taking a nap I don't know when I could find the time to sneak away

I'm sure they can do something for you at the YC. I got a birthday cake for my husband's birthday when we were at the Wilderness Lodge last year. I just called room service a few days in advance and they put me in touch with someone in the bakery there. The cake was great and they brought it right up to the room for us.

Ny pleasure.... It would be nice though if they delivered to other hotels.... We could have those Eclairs every morning..

I've had YC concierge take care of special cakes, etc on 3 different occasions. I am sure room service would do it too. They created an incredible array of chocolate strawberries, chocolate castle and decorated cookies one time. Another time I wanted a soccer theme b'day cake and they did it with Mickey and Goofy playing and then in May, I asked for a graduation cake for my son's elementary school graduation-the visit was his reward for all a's - the cake was waiting in our room and was accompanied by balloons and graduate mickeys-I never spent more than $60 on any of the celebrations. If you are not staying concierge just call the hotel and ask for the Chef-they want you to be happy. Good luck and good for you!!!
