I've been involved in the cake thread for a while, but I'm thinking I might have better luck with this question away from that thread.
My husband's birthday is the week that we're going to WDW. I'd thought about pre-ordering a cake and having it delivered to the room, but I'm debating that idea. It's just the two of us and we're on the dining plan, so ordering a special cake may just be too much. (Will we really eat all that cake during the week, especially being on the dining plan, or will it just be a waste of money?)
So I was thinking maybe I'd just pick up a cake at the Boardwalk Bakery. My questions...
Do they have a good selection of "ready-to-buy" cakes?
Could I have them put "happy birthday" on the cake?
TIA
