We have reservations for Cape May at 8:20 November 19th. We would love to spend some time walking around Boardwalk, but I am not sure how close they are. We will be at MK until 6, so my perfect plan would be to leave park around 6, drive over to Beach Club and then walk around until our reservation. Are the 2 resorts close enough to do that? TIA :)

Yes the resorts are very close. I doubt you will have a ton of time just because traffic might take longer than you expect but the resorts are very close together.

All the Christmas decorations should be up by then, so differently take a walk around the different resorts. I would walk one way from BC to BWV and tale a boat ride back from BWV to BC. The walk is about 1/2 mile away but a very nice one.

As the PP said, the resorts are very close and are a very short walk (and even shorter boat ride if timing is absolutely perfect). Any chance of making an earlier ADR and then enjoying the Boardwalk after dinner this way you aren't rushed? This will give you a chance to enjoy the performers, enjoy the walk, enjoy sitting by the water watching the boats go by and then when you are ready to head back to your resort you can grab a few pastries from the Boardwalk Bakery for a late night snack or quick breakfast the following morning.

Very good tips! Thanks so much!
I have been trying to get in earlier but that’s the only time they have. I’ll keep checking because I would prefer an earlier time 😊

It is easy to walk over the Crescent Lake bridge from the Beach Club to the Boardwalk. Time permitting, you can then walk around the lake to the Swan and Dolphin and past the Yacht Club before returning to Beach Club for your reservation. As mentioned above, you can also take a boat across the lake -- just make sure the boat you board is going in the direction you need.

Keep in mind that the Boardwalk entertainers don't really come out much until 7:30-8 p.m. in our experience. Sunday-Wednesday we have found that there doesn't appear to be as much activity entertainment wise for some reason on the Boardwalk----not sure why or if it has been a coincidence. And if there is rain/bad weather most of the entertainment does not appear and the tents remain closed up---which was our bad luck last summer. This summer (late july) there was a magician out around 7:45 p.m. and none of the other tents were open yet when we were wrapping up our dinner at Trattoria Al Forno and heading over to HS via boat for Fantastmic.

Definitely close enough to do. The surrey bikes and carnival games are available nightly but I think the live entertainment (magic, juggling etc.) is available only Thurs through Sat nights and I don’t believe there is a published schedule.
