Boards are Sooooooooooooo Slow, Is it just Me?

The boards are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow for me today, half the time it just times out. Is it just me? Other sites seem okay, but FB seems slow too.

IMHO, it's been painfully slow for awhile. I can load FB faster than the Dis and that's saying alot. Also takes alot of effort to post a reply that many times I just skip it.
<------- more like click on the Dis and then go make a cup of coffee.

Thank you for saying something, I thought it was just me. I have a fairly new computer and I thought it wasn't working right. Other websites seemed to load faster but I am planning a trip so I have been mostly on the DIS and I thought I was going to have to take my computer in to get looked at

I agree it been this way for me for over a month and I have a brand new computer. I think it has to do with traffic sometimes its fast and others times its dreadfully slow.

Not to add the the negative mix, but I have been having major issues with slowness here for what seems like weeks now. At times, it makes it almost impossible to post.

I was thinking for a while it was just me, but it happens at home, work, and even no my iPhone. Any word on what might be wrong, or is it just Disney maniac overload.

This was mentioned a few weeks or so ago by Pete and Corey. It sounds like a database problem with some tables being locked. Basically, the process on the server that is working for you has to wait for another process to finish doing something in a database before you can have a turn. The people that wrote the software are working on it, but software development can be pretty slow what with all the testing, recoding, testing, recoding, etc that needs to be done.

Pages have been slow to load at times for me too other times it works fine. The slow down has seemed to be getting worse and more frequent in the last couple of weeks.
