BM hotel no longer a Renaissance

Has anyone heard anything about the Renaissance Hollywood no longer being a Renaissance. I was lookign somethign up and there was a note from the manager and it's also no longer on the Marriott website.

We're doing the October BM and we were just wondering which brand the hotel has now become.

It's being purchased by Loew's, and will be renovated & re-branded as the Loew's Hollywood Hotel. (The re-branding is supposed to happen the end of this month, and the renovations, slowly over the next year).

Thanks, and ironically I think i got an email from Loews about it now that I think about it. I didn't really pay attention as it was promoting rates so I knew I wasn't going to need it.

i just hope the renovations don't impede on our vacation.

I don't see the Knights & Lights London Chancery Court Hotel on Marriott's website either. Did another company purchase the Chancery Court?

It's apparently part of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Group now.
