So I took some shots today @ dd's archery meet - they seemed to be perfect shots of the target (bright colors) & dd when I reviewed them on the camera. BUT now I have uploaded to my computer & they look blurryish and not crisp. What on earth would cause that?

Most likely, they are simply out of focus. What type of camera were you shooting with? You should post a couple examples with exif data.

It could be a few things. Until you post a picture everyone would just be guessing.

And the LCD screen does totally lie.

I'm just using a Canon SX40.

I don't know how to add a pic here. :worried:

You put it on a photo sharing site like flickr and then link it here.

Without more information, it's impossible to know for sure...
But were you very zoomed in? I'm guessing camera shake/motion blur.

Shots look fine when downsized on a tiny LCD, but any focus issues become more apparent in full size.

So, describe the setting.

Is this from a distance? Up close? How was the lighting? Was your camera in auto or a sports setting? Was action involved or was she just standing next to the target?

Is part of the picture clear, but the rest blurry or is the whole pictures blurry?
