Bluegreen Rentals - The Fountains

Has anyone stayed at a Bluegreen Rentals called The Fountains. Travelzoo has a special now for a 2 bedroom villa for $79.00/night. It says that it is about 15 minutes from WDW. Does anyone know anything about these villas or an opinion regarding the location. Thanks.

used to be oasis lakes but blue green took over ( it was owned by british interests before )

originally there were only about three buildings, but now bluegreen has continued on with construction of remaining phases

they are across the street from Vistana Villages

we stayed there on exchange and enjoyed it

at 80$ a night for a 2 bedroom that would be 560 a week not including taxes, thus it is a fair price ( probably cost us as much or more with our exchange if you take into account maintenance fees exchange fees and rci membership fee )

Thanks Lawgs. We have reservations at Caribe Royal for $115 a night but keep rethinking the situation and have thought about changing for the lower rate. It will be only a few nights before we check into Saratoga Springs.

the resort is not far from the premium outlets

there is a publix just down the way also across from premium outlets ( also where the new HGVC timeshare is located

access to WDW is easy, just continue down international drive until you merge with 536/417 toll road that leads right past marriott world center and into WDW near OKW/Epcot area (536)

the one thing we found quaint was the "tea service" in the unit for "tea time" must be the british influence

the units were quite roomy and our unit looked out onto the lake in the back of the property

while we were there , we had heard that Virgin (sir branson ) was considering investing in the resort but that must have falled through

once again for 80$ a night you cannot go wrong and it is not that much further from Caribe Royal on 536/417

I'd snatch it up! It's beautiful, on a lake and there is a nice freeform pool! We are bluegreen owners have stayed in the Older oasis section and the new bluegreen section... and it's very nice!

I think it also has an indoor/outdoor pool.

the reviews I have seem are very, very nice.

I just check on bluegreenrentals.com and it shows pay for 6 nights and get the 7th free! That's an even better deal! Hey Spicey, you are right, there is an indoor/ outdoor pool. You can swim from the outside to the inside. They also have a new snack bar And and almost full service restuarant/coffeehouse there too! There is new construction going on at this resort.

We are going to be staying there 11/26-12/3. The pictures and brouchures make it look really nice. We choose thiBluegreen rental becuase of the indoor/outdoor pool. That way if it on the cooler side the kids can still swim.

We are Bluegreen owners. We stopped in last December to check the place out. It is just beautiful. You will love it! The pool area is so pretty. The lake view is gorgeous. Have a great time.

Does anyone know how the 2 bedroom works? I know there is a room with a king.. but what does the other room have in it bed wise? And does the living room have a sofa bed???

My SIL owns there, and she gave us the week they have this past January and stayed there. Can't think of anything bad to say about the place! The pool is super warm, they have many activities for the kids, you will love the master bedroom! Very, very nice! I guess the only downside would be the construction going on there, but I don't think it would be a big worry.
