I want to get tix to see Blue Man Group in January when we're in Orlando. Our kids will be 7 & 9...is the show ok for them???

Thanks!

We saw it in November. Our boys loved it. They're 10 and 7. I would definitely recommend it. I liked Cirque better but it was still worth seeing. :thumbsup2

When I saw Blue Man years ago, there was absolutely nothing that was not safe for kids. I know they have changed some stuff to keep it fresh, but I am fairly certain it is still family friendly. As long as your kids like loud music, bright lights, lots of color, and don't mind lots of stimulus, they should be fine.

I think this show would be perfect for your kids! I just saw it for the first time two weeks ago, and it was one of my favorite things we did all trip. It is hard to describe what exactly goes on in the show, but I love the fact that the audience fully participates and becomes part of the performance. Some things were just amazing, others were jaw-dropping. I also think a love of theater is a great gift to give to children.

PS---don't be late for the show!

Where are they located in Orlando? We saw them when they toured here in CT and the show was just okay. i was told they had to cut a lot of the show because the venue didn't want their location to get dirty. I saw them two years ago in Vegas and the show was fantastic!!!! They were on their home turf and could do whatever they wanted and the show was a lot of fun.

Where are they located in Orlando? .................

They are over at Universal/Islands of Adventure and totally worth it. We recently saw a traveling Blue Man show here in Albany and though nice, the Orlando show is much better.

Yes great for kids, they are big kids themselves. We got discount with Universal AP's.
We saw Cirque 2 years ago and was not over impressed, saw another in Vegas "O" last month just to see if that was any better, but no they just dont do it for me. Wished we had gone see BMG in Vegas instead.

It's great.. your kids will love it.. and like someone mentioned before-- dont be late! :)

We took our 4 and 6 year old to this show in September and they still talk about it. Probably about 10-20 percent will be "over their heads" but nothing frightening or indecent. I think it ran about 90 minutes without an intermission. I had seen them in NYC twice before we had kids and still really enjoyed it.

How messy is sitting in the Poncho area? I've got tickets for us and our teenage daughter for December 26th (a suprise Christmas present for her)front row center. I'm wondering if we'll all be blue :woohoo: by the end of the show

We were in the seats behind you, not touched by anything. Some stuff does fly out but nowhere near what I expected, might be messier some nights than others.
