Blue Lagoon Question - Cancel or push back?

My husband and I are visiting the DLP resort in early January. We currently have a reservation at Blue Lagoon for 17:45, however we are wondering if we should cancel or move the reservation back. DLP is posted to close at 19:00. I expect that we won't get to see the fireworks regardless, however in order to take advantage of more time to experience the attractions, should we see if we can push our reservation to 18:00 or later? Any advice is much appreciated!

why would you not get to see the fireworks with your present reservation time at the Blue Lagoon? The fireworks will start at 7pm if the official park closing time is 7pm, and it only takes 5 minutes to walk from the Blue Lagoon down to the hub in front of the castle, to see the fireworks.

I would of thought that you have the last reservation if the park is closing at 7pm. A meal can take an hour and a half easy in a ts restaurant at DLP so I'd be trying for earlier and you'd be able to be out and see Dreams which is really worth it
