blue lagoon-how long do we have to stay

I am thinking of doing the Blue Lagoon excursion during our upcoming Dream cruise. I have booked the 10:15 time to leave for the excursion. What time would we be able to leave the island once we were finished? Are there different times that boats leave the island to return to port? I'm not sure if we would want to stay longer than a few hours. TIA

Granted it has been a few years now, but when we went to Blue Lagoon for the sea lion excursion the boats back to port ran fairly regularly and you could board whichever one you wanted. The day we were there, it was clear that rain was going to start so we cut short our planned stay and boarded the next boat that came to the island to get back to the port before the rain arrived.

We did Blue Lagoon (Island Beach Day) in February (so COVID restrictions). If I remember correctly we had to report to the theatre at 8:30 ish. The divided everyone up based on those who where doing the Beach Day, Dolphin encounter/swim and so on. They had 2 boats (for the Island Beach Day) but both left the ship at the same time and returned to the ship at the same time. The Dolphin Encounter took different boats but left at roughly the same time that we did.
We had a blast on our Beach Day. Hope this helps
