with a toddler.

bad idea???

my son can be noisy when we take him out to eat, so im just wondering if that would be a problem or if people would complain, and we end up getting kicked out :confused3

We saw kids of all ages in there when we ate there. I mean, it is Disneyland after all. Someone would be crazy not to exect to see kids there! Of course I'd normally try to occupy my son when he was a toddler anyway, and some noise is to be expected. But I've seen some babies screaming and crying during the whole meal. Now that would be bad anywhere!

Hi - I agree - you'd expect kids to be there! We always go there for lunch or dinner and there are always lots of kids. It does have a quieter atmosphere but I don't think that any adults go there expecting a very quiet, romantic dinner.

It's fun for the kids. Last time, the kids menu was a pirate hat (like the Burger King crowns!) So, your son would probably love it. And, you can see the ride boats go by.

I would say if he is acting up and crying/screaming, then maybe you'd take him to the lobby or to the restroom to quiet down with a promise you'll go back when he calms down.

I say go for it and enjoy!

I say go, but if he starts acting out, please take him to the lobby so he doesn't bother the other patrons?

I'm sure with all the look at it'd be fine. Just make sure to pick a time that's not normal naptime/meltdown time and if you're really worried, maybe bring a new to him toy or activity he can play with at the table.

Blue Bayou is a bad idea in general, IMO. Hideously overpriced, partially worth it only if you get a table near POTC. Otherwise, I'd hit the French Market.

My 1 YO actually loved this place and did well compared to some other places. We booked 1st seating time for lunch and requested a water table. He just waved to the boats and would make Arr noises to the waiters. Of course, he's into trains and boats so that helped. I would say give it a try if you want.

thank you everyone for your advice...i feel MUCH better now:goodvibes
i think we'll try it...he is not insanely loud or anything, just your average 17 month old. if hes super tired or cranky by meal time, ill skip it for sure though, b/c for how expensive i hear it is, if i cant sit and enjoy the meal then its not worth it! lol
thanks again!
