Blue Bayou? What gives?

Beem trying to get lunch reservations at Blue Bayou. Keep getting this error message
"We were unable to check for available tables at this time. A problem occurred while looking for availability. Please try again later."

Why this message?
 
Well it seems they were unable to check for available tables at that time cause a problem occurred while looking for availability. :confused3 :rotfl:
 
I saw the same thing for Trader Sam's yesterday. Not sure what that's about.

ETA it only happened on my desktop. It didn't happen on my phone.
 

I got that error this morning too and was wondering! Some of the times I got that, other times the standard no times available.

I was searching on phone, but via web, FWIW.
 
When I get a message like that from Disney sites (WDW does this too!) I go through the following steps:

Clear cache, clear cookies. Try incognito mode. Try a different device.
 
I get that error message a lot but I keep refreshing a couple times and then it goes through.
Maybe it is just overloaded at the time.
 
When I was booking reservations at the 60 day mark, I got the error if I tried to access between approx. 5:45am and 6:00am.
 
Yeah, that's the standardized message I get when trying to jump the gun at 6 a.m. Surprised it's being displayed at other times.
 
I’ve been up at 3AM PST everyday for the past week and haven’t been able to get any times to load for Blue Bayou. Tried the Fantasimic Packages AND dinner/lunch reservations. Booking exactly 60 days out (April). Nothing! Something is definitely broken with booking currently. Meh

I'm so sorry you've been up so early for these reservations; as @goooof1 says, it opens at 6 am PST; I was booking at 9 am EST for my trip. I would suggest a good dining reservation app if you've passed the 60 days for all your park days. There are many of the services; just Google. :)

The DLR reservation system is notoriously inconsistent. Sometimes reservations open at 6am ET 60 days out, sometimes it’s 6am PT. Or sometimes if happens at 12:15. Other times it happens 59 days out, and sometimes 42 days out. Sometimes reservations will drop consistently at the same time every day for two weeks and then no reservations will drop for 3 days. I highly recommend paying for a service that will notify you when dining reservations are available. We can’t post names on this forum but you can Google it. Pay for the text notifications. I’m usually able to get reservations through that service even if I decide to go the day before.
