Blue Bayou reservation - check in earlier than reserved time?

Hi, was wondering about recent experiences with Blue Bayou and checking in earlier than the reservation time. If we have a reservation at 8:10pm, do you think we could check in earlier, like 7pm? TIA.

I suspect it totally depends on how things are going on the night in question. The best thing to do is to go by at 7pm and ask. If they say it’ll only be a few minutes, then hang out and wait, if they tell you to come back at 8, then go ride Pirates. The worst case scenario is that they take your name and number, and you hang around, and they don’t text you for another 45-60 minutes.

We did this tonight and checked in at 8pm for an 8:40pm reservation.

We were seated 10 minutes later and by the water, great meal!
