Blue Bayou question

I haven't posted in a long time until today as we are nearing our departure, but I still read all the time! My wife and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary the 16th of June while visiting Disneyland with our kids. We have reservations at Blue Bayou for that night, for just the two of us. Do they do anything special for anniversaries? Should I have let them know at Disney Dining when I made the reservation? Just curious.....Thanks for all the fun ideas we've gotten off these boards!

My husband let them know when he made reservations for Goofy's Kitchen. They brought out a cupcake (Dale came along too) with a chocolate mickey head, and a candle on it. They wished us a happy anniversary. It was very nice. Maybe they can do something similar at the Blue Bayou? But yes, I'd let Disney Dining know ahead of time.

You should let them know and I'm sure they will do a little something. Make sure you get Happy Anniversary buttons at City Hall when you first get in the parks that day, you'll get Anniversary wishes all day!

We are going to BB on our anniversary June 10. When I made the PS she asked if we were celebrating anything. When I called to make one for Minnie, the girl didn't ask. Guess it's luck of the draw. Bet you could call and have it noted on your PS.

Thanks for the suggestions. I called DD and had them add that detail to our reservation. Just thought it might make it more special. Thanks for the congrats as well. Its a big summer for us. Our oldest graduates from high school tomorrow, and as I mentioned in another thread, it could very well be our last vacation as a "full" family, as he goes away to college in the fall. It will also be our youngest daughters 11th birthday the day we arrive (the 15th). We usually stay at DLH but are trying the PP this trip. We can hardly wait!
