Blue Bayou & Pirates of the Caribbean to be refurbished in December??

This was being discussed in a dining thread started by Dec2009mama but I thought I would start a discussion under this title as many might miss it under the reservation thread.

Several DISers have reported that the Blue Bayou and possibly PotC will be down for a time during December.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Has anyone heard anything definitive?

Just for reference (and easy access), this is the tread that Dec2009mama started where it was first mentioned that Blue Bayou might be closed for the early part of December.

The Disneyland Resort Refurbishment hotline didn't mention anything about a Blue Bayou (or Pirates) closure for that period, so there is no "official" confirmation yet. That does not mean it won't be happening, only that it has not yet been announced. It is worth noting that a closure of Blue Bayou does not mean that PotC will be closed.

Thank you figment_jii for posting the link. I tried to include that in my original post but could not because I had not reached 10 posts.

If BB is closed, I will be disappointed.

If PotC is closed, I will be heartbroken.

Wasn't BB closed earlier this year when they were remodeling Club 33? Or I am imagining that?

If its not open that will be a deal breaker for us. How long is the projected shutdown?
