Just as an fyi (and not your original question) many of the Disney blu rays include a regular DVD as well and with the coupons out there it is cheaper. I buy the combo packs, keep the regular and pass the blu ray onto someone with a PS3.

Great budget idea, plus it makes you a really swell person (in the PS3 owner's eyes).

However, for those of you who don't currently own a BR player, but still buy the Disney BR/DVD combo packs for the sake of savings, you may as well hang onto that BR disc as in the future, it will be as commonplace as DVD's have become...

Yes not only disney but most movies now come in the blu-ray/dvd/digital copy and OFTEN is cheaper than the DVD alone! I couldn't believe that. I was told they were cutting the prices of blu rays to get people to buy the players for Christmas. Works for this PS3 owner!
