Hi everyone
Need some help. We will be staying at Bay lake tower. What is the best way to get to the beach club for a 9 am ADR at cape may? We have a 5 and 3.5 yr old. ideally I want to bring the double stroller so we can walk from the beach club to Epcot through the IG? If we monorail to Epcot, how far is the walk from monorail station at Epcot to the beach club? Is there a bus from bay lake to beach club? Should we just cab there if we can fit stroller and monorail home after epcot? Any ideas greatly appreciated. Oh, no car all week.
Thanks!!!

The problem with taking the monorail to Epcot is that you would then have to enter Epcot in order to get to the IG, which is how you would get to the BC from Epcot. There is no bus from BLT to BC, so if you want to use Disney transportation, taking the bus to DHS and then transferring to the boat to the Epcot resorts would be a better option than having to enter Epcot. I'd suggest a taxi, but I don't know how that would work with little ones who would normally need to be in car seats.

Thanks. Sounds difficult. maybe we should just do the chef mickeys breakfast instead of cape may and then monorail to Epcot. That sounds a lot easier even if the breakfast is a little more chaotic!
If anyone else has other thoughts please let me know! Thanks!

You can take a bus to DHS and then walk or take the boat to the Beach Club.

go the easy way - walk down to the buses at the MK (should take no more than 10 minutes) and get on the BC/YC bus. then you have to walk to the lobby - Cape May Cafe is on your right.

would leave about 8:30am - the buses should be running an hour before the park opens.

don't take the monorail - it goes to TTC, polyn, gf then the mk - walking is easier and quicker to get to the MK.

now coming back you can take the monorail - but only if you have park hoppers. going thru epcot even to get on the monorial is going thru the park. (and you have to change to the resort monorail at TTC)

I love BLT it is my home resort hope you do too!

I hadn't thought about taking the bus from MK, that would definitely be easier than taking the bus to DHS then transferring to the boat or walking to BC. However, the buses start running every day at 6:30, not an hour before the parks open. I think I'd be at the MK bus stop by 8:00; 8:30 might be cutting it a bit close if you just miss the BC bus.

According to the original post, NOLAmom is planning to go to Epcot after breakfast anyway, so getting back to BLT won't require park hoppers.

Will buses be running to resorts that early?

The best way would be to drive. Barring that, I would get a cab. That will cost you a little bit, but it will be significantly faster than a bus to DHS, and then walk/boat to BC.

In all reality??? The best way is going to be to take a cab to BC..with the stroller.
You can't access Epcot to get to BC...they won't let you in unless it's an EMH morning. So, that's out. You could take the early bus to DHS and then either walk (about 20 mins) or boat (20+ mins depending on wait times) to BC.
There aren't any truly dependable buses running from MK to BC that early. You could head over there, from BLT, at about 8am and see what happens.

Since Chef Mickey's is an option, it sure sounds a lot less complicated than the plans I've read here.

I wouldn't want to start off the day with all those transportation issues!

Have to agree...just walk over to CM's for breakfast. I would actually leave eating at Cape May, for breakfast, until you are at Epcot for the day. I like to book the character breakfast at Cape May for around 10:30ish, on an EMH morning at Epcot. We grab a pastry for a quick bite, hit the park for a few hours, then head over to BC for a brunch type meal.

Yes; once the buses have started running to the parks, they will run buses to a resort as early as there are guests wanting to go to that resort.

It's only DTD that has limited a.m. service.
