we are planning a family trip, we will need a 2 bedroom and a studio. To save points I would like to get 2 lake views. But now I am thinking maybe. We should do a theme park and a lake vow in hopes to be across the hall from each other...any tips or suggestions. I know standard views are gone already. A grand villa there is out of my point range

Once you get all three reservations, call, e-mail or chat with MS. Have a "Travel with" notice placed on all the rooms of the other two reservation numbers along with your requests.

Personally I love theme park view, but it is very "pointy". Do you need the rooms close together because of safety issues (i.e. you need to keep an eye on younger children) or convenience? com_op's suggestion is a good one, but if you turn out not being close, don't fret. With the two banks of elevators and the relatively short hallways (in comparison to BWV or AKL) it would only be a few minutes to walk to the studio. The only long walk would be if you were on opposite ends of the "horseshoe". And, personally, I prefer a two bedroom "lockoff" because the second bedroom has it's own kitchenette and hallway entrance...but the drawback is instead of two beds (like in a dedicated) there is a bed and a pull out couch. And if you are trying to keep an eye on little ones, having that door to the hallway might be "enticing" to those that like to escape.

Either way, have fun. You will love seeing the fireworks from there and the short walk to MK.

I don't think that getting a theme park view and a lakeview will get you necessarily any closer to each other than 2 lakeviews. In reality because there are so many more lakeviews (70%) than either of the other views there is a much higher likelihood of them being able to put you in rooms near each other in 2 lakeview due to the possible number of turnovers there as opposed to any theme park views. A dedicated 2 bedroom could be right next door to a studio whereas if you book a lock-off than the studio will have to be a little farther away if it is not across the hall due to the layout of the building.

If you only request is being close to the other reservation they should be able to get you fairly close in 2 lakeview rooms.

I agree with rlovew in that getting a TPV and a LV won't necessarily give you a better chance of being close to each other. LV is a larger category and there would be both the possibility of being next to each other or even across the hall from each other.
