BLT Standard view and Walkway Question

I have been out of the loop for a while and had a couple BLT questions. What do you get to look at when you book a standard view? Can you make request's? If so what is a good request to get a glimpse of the fireworks or monorail? Also what floor is the walkway on? Thankss for your help!

The Sky Bridge connect the 5th floor of BLT to the 4th floor of the Contemporary.

we had a split stay when we were there in Aug..4 nights SV, 4 nights LV( this was not on purpose, we had no luck with the wait list!!) Anyway, we had a ded 2br on the 2nd floor for SV and the view was wonderful!!! Monorails right outside our window, and a clear view of Wishes. We did have a slight intereference with the overhang of the entrance, but it really wasn't bad. The LV on the 14th floor, well, was disappointing. We had a nice view of the pool, but could only see the very high fireworks of Wishes, and couldn't see the Electric Water Pageant from the balcony. Not sure that we wanted to, anyway, there is a big BIRD problem on the inner side of the tower, if you know what I mean!! Lots of spider webs, too. We definitely preferred our SV room!!!

We had a standard view on the 1st floor, had a patio right by the bocce courts and could look over the trees to the pool.
We had no problem taking the elevator to the 5th floor to connect to the sky bridge. It was very convenient to walk to the MK too.

Besides going to TOTWL, you can get a good view of fireworks on a upper floor in the Noth Elevator lobby.

Standard view at BLT basically means LOW floor. Standard view rooms go all the way up to the 5th floor, but they are mostly the first 2 floors.

You could have a view of the pool and courtyard, a view of the contemporary resort itself, a view of the MK or a view of bay lake. It's just these views are on the lower floors.

There aren't any bad views at BLT. Just some good ones and a LOT of spectacular ones.

BLT is only one building. The 5th floor of the South elevator bank is where the Sky Bridge to the CR is located.

At BLT, even numbered rooms are on the outer C. Most (if not all) will have a view of the monorail. Odd numbered rooms are on the inner C (toward the pool).
