I currently have a 2 bedroom from 12/9 to 12/15 at BLT. Should I wait list BCV? Which would be more fun at that time if year? I am afraid transportation from BLT will be mobbed. It seems the place is booked pretty solid. I can't stop obsessing over the decision! Help!

Thanks!

Have you already visited both BLT and BCV? I think both places will be booked solid that week, as DVC points are the lowest. BCV will be harder to get, since it is smaller. I personally would choose to be closer to MK and GF for the holiday decorations.

Have a good time!

We own at blt and stayed there last week. Our previous trip was in January and we stayed at bcv. For me, I'd rather be closer to mk. We have always walked to mk from blt and find it to be easy, even when it's 90* out. And from blt to epcot is also pretty easy. From bcv epcot and studios are easy, but mk is not. That's the difference for me. And a big draw of bcv is the pool, which you probably wouldn't use in December much.

I have found MK quite easy from BCV. I take a lovely stroll through EPCOT and take the monorail to MK. Only AK needs to be bussed to.

It's a problem if you want to be at mk for rope drop or past 9pm. That may or may not be an issue for the op, just pointing out it was a problem for us.

Given the time of year, I'd vote for BLT since you may not be able to use the pool at BCV. Plus, if it is cold it will be nice to be able to walk right back to the resort from MK. If it was a warmer time of year, I'd vote for BCV for Stormalong Bay.

BLT!!! I would stick with your decision and not look back.:thumbsup2 I can't think of a better place to be than at BLT/CR during Christmas. Being able to walk out the door and be on your way to the beautifully decorated MK will be PURE MAGIC!! I'm assuming you'll be attending MVMCP one night -- how special will it be to attend it and be back home in a just a few minutes. And, being able to hop on the monorail to quickly ride over to the GF to see the Gingerbread House and all their beautiful decor will be fabulous!

When we stayed at CR, there were guests at BLT who decorated their balcony with twinkle lights, it was pretty cute and fun for us to see when we passed by there. It wasn't even December! I would def do that if I was going to be there during Christmas.

We've stayed at BCV, and we love it there, too. It would be nice to be able to quickly walk over to the WS, but I would not want to be out there waiting for a bus to take me to the MK during the holidays. That would be a deal breaker for me.

Staying at BLT during December would get my vote hands down.

Have a WONDERFUL vacation!!
