BLT/only one with 1br for family of 5?

After I found out that we could book BLT for about the same price as our CR~TPV room I got interested in looking at other DVC resorts.

It seems that a family of 5 can only book at 1br at BLT, but has to move up to a 2br everywhere else. Is this correct?

My dh seems slightly interested in CR/BLT, but BCV has always peaked my interest! I really wish we could stay there at some point to check them out, but I don't think we would do a 2br on a cash ressie! Are there any other DVC properties that allow 5 in a 1br?

You can also do 5 in a one bedroom at AKV's Kidani Village (and I *think* in Jambo House, except in the value size villas). The one bedrooms there are set up like those at BLT with the sleeper sofa and chair available.

They will not give you bedding for the fifth at the resorts that offically sleep four in a 1-bedroom.

VBR has added the sleeper chair with 1-bedrooms and there will be sleeper chairs in the renovated OKW rooms.

If you are booking cash through CRO, you can only book BLT or AKV (non-value) for 5.

Thanks, that's what I figured. I think we may just try out BLT! I just can't decide if it is worth giving up my CR~mk view for a standard 1br at BLT. BLT seems like the obvious choice here, but my kids were looking forward to their first stay at CR, so I'm not so sure which they would like best!
