BLT Home resort still "null"

I recently added on at BLT. My vacation points on the member website still list null as the home resort for my BLT contracts. Has anyone noted "Disney's Bay Lake Tower" listed as their home resort yet instead of null?

I believe that everyone that has BLT points will show the resort as null. AKV showed as null for quite sometime after it went on sale.

Mine still shows as "null" also, however the new contract number is there as well as the correct points. It may change after the closing date.

Null for me too. So, how many times has everyone done a refresh? I'm hitting refresh a half a dozen times a day. :lmao:

On my AKV contract, mine changed about 2 days before the scheduled closing date. I later learned that my actual closing date was 2 days earlier which makes me conclude that the change does actually happen on closing day (null-->resort name).

I seriously doubt anybody's closed at BLT yet. We bought the second morning and our paperwork listed something like 11-1 or 11-2 as the anticipated closing date.

I suspect we'll begin seeing resort names change around the first of November if my deductive reasoning holds true. :cool1:

My estimated closing date is 11/8. I will have to fight the urge to "keep checking" until after that date. :surfweb:

The website had that same problem with AKV. I suspect the website's database has no information in the name field for the BLT resort. It will not change when you close on your contract. It will only change when someone takes a couple of minutes and fixes it. The AKV "null resort" bug was finally fixed after about 9 months!

If you want to report it, send email to Member Services and state right up front that you are reporting a bug on the members website. Otherwise they assume you are just having a problem using the site and will ask you all kinds of irrelevant questions instead of passing along the bug report to the IT folks. Be as clear as you can about where the problem occurs (which web page).

Congratulations on your ownership of the Null DVC resort. Many of us have owned at the null resort in the past, so you are our neighbor, so to speak.

I am still looking, hopefully, for the opening of the Void resort. Then I can own at the null and void resorts.

This is one reason why I'm not sure it is a good idea for DVC to even think about active, online, resort reservations. ;) If they can't even program the proper resort name...unless they do it purposefully to remind reservaton CMs that they can't book that resort, yet. :confused3
